Bracknell bus station nears completion

Posted: May 13, 2016

Visitors are set to get a clearer welcome to the new Bracknell town centre as work on refurbishing Bracknell’s bus station nears completion. The £4m project is providing new shelters for passengers, real-time passenger information, better alignment for buses drawing up to the bus bays, better onward travel information, and new landscaping. “The bus station is also used by coaches, taxis, school buses, and workplace transport. So it is important to give residents and visitors good facilities.” Said Cllr Chris Turrell, Bracknell Forest’s executive member for planning and transport.
