Coral Reef (Waterworld) gets major makeover
Posted: Mar 6, 2015
Since we opened its doors 25 years ago our fantastic Coral Reef Waterworld attraction has welcomed more than 10 million fun seekers through its doors.
To mark its next 25 years we are planning an exciting £11.4m makeover which includes two fabulous new flumes – the first of their kind in the UK.
In addition to the new flumes and accessible flume tower, a new roof will be built over the main pool area, Coral Reef’s existing flumes, changing rooms, toilets, reception area and café will also be refurbished and improvements are planned for The Lazy River and Sauna World.
Starting in 2016 this major project is your Conservative Council’s commitment to providing the best for our residents and very much about investing in the long-term future of the borough. Coral Reef is and will remain a unique leisure facility and its refurbishment will extend and enhance the benefits, thrills and enjoyment for we residents but, equally importantly, it will encourage even more people to visit the attraction from much further afield, putting Bracknell Forest firmly on the tourist map and boosting our local economy.
