John has worked and resided in the Sandhurst area for 30 years. He is married to Deborah and has two sons who have graduated from university.
He understands the challenges facing parents and children today.
He has run his own retail business previously for 24 years but due to the major changes in shopping habits and legislation opted to seek employment within the food retail industry.
John is a voluntary Executive Committee member at the 3rd Sandhurst Scout Group where he is Social Secretary with responsibility for fund raising and ensuring the headquarters building is well maintained for the safety of the young people attending the various events .
He is also a volunteer at the Thames Hospice Shop in Sandhurst. John’s interest in leisure sports led him to become a qualified football referee. He officiates at many youth and senior local fixtures within the Aldershot & District Senior and North East Hampshire Youth Leagues. He is also a keen badminton player.
John has supported policies that enhance the quality of life for residents by improving the leisure, recreational and environmental facilities within the borough and in particular within the Owlsmoor / Sandhurst area.

David is a family man with two sons and grandchildren. He has lived in Owlsmoor with his wife Margaret since 1967. He has retired from full time employment where he held senior management positions in industry for over 20 years followed by 15 years running his own Property Maintenance business.
He has over 30 years of experience as a local councillor representing Owlsmoor on both Borough and very local Town and Parish Councils.
He has been the Bracknell Forest Borough Councillor since the borough became a Unitary Authority. He has held positions as diverse as Chairman of Crowthorne Parish Council and at Borough level, Chairman of Environment, Chairman of Housing & Social Services and Chairman of Planning & Highways for 11 years.
In the last 4 years he has concentrated on the Employment, Governance and Audit functions of the Council whilst maintaining his interest in the Planning Committee.
Locally he is a member of the Management Committee for the Owlsmoor Centre and has past experience as a School Governor.
David continues to support forward thinking and cost effective policies designed to support traditional values and will oppose the adoption of trendy and financially wasteful policies often supported by Labour, Liberal and Independent groups.
