Not only as their ward Councillor, but also as chairman of the Borough Planning committee and as Chairman of the Royal Berkshire Fire Authority. Borough (Crown Wood)

I have lived within the Borough of Bracknell Forest for 28 years. I have been involved in shaping the future of our local area by becoming your local Conservative Councillor in May 2011.

I am an avid listener to the voice of the people and represent the issues that are important to you, the residents of Crown Wood and Forest Park. I have many local interests and have been a representative for the following:

Corporate Parent Advisory Panel
Children and Young People Overview and Scrutiny Panel

I have recently with my fellow Conservative councillors placed defibrillators within Crown Wood and Forest Park and continue to ensure that Savernake Lake is kept clean be tidy and can continue to be used for all those living within the ward.

I have been a Winkfield Parish Councillor for 8 years and a member of the Leisure Committee. I am the Short Break Officer for a local authority, providing specialist respite services for children and young people with learning difficulties and disabilities, especially during the holidays.

I have been an active fundraiser and Charity Ambassador for many charities, raising awareness and money by taking part in treks in China, across the UK and Iceland.

I want to be re-elected as your Councillor so that I can continue my involvement in tackling local concerns and help make the voice of residents heard. I think that Crown Wood and Forest Park are great places to live and work – and if elected I want to keep it that way!
