Posted: Jul 16, 2014

Dr Lee, who is a practising GP, called for a cross-party approach to tackle the challenges posed by changing demographics. Specially, Dr Lee spoke of 4 issues that must be addressed:

  1. reduce demand on services;
  2. improve the physical structure of our hospitals;
  3. have an open debate on funding;
  4. de-politicise the process and put the public interest first.
