A Huge shout out to The Ark Trust, Bracknell Forest Council’s partner for the Community Response during the pandemic who have been awarded The Queens Award for Voluntary Service for the volunteers’ work during COVID.
The Queens Award for Voluntary Service is the MBE for volunteers.
This public recognition of all the work by volunteers sums up every that is good about Bracknell Forest.
A special congratulations go to CEO, Andrea McCombie and her team for the organisation of the volunteers who worked with the Council and NHS Frimley CCG to organise and support the community volunteers at the vaccine centre at Waitrose & Partners and so many others to pulling off the massive task that was required.
