Volunteer-run Berkshire Search and Rescue Dogs will receive £623 thanks to Bracknell’s recycling reward scheme members donating their points to good causes. The charity uses specially trained dogs to help the emergency services find missing vulnerable adults and children.
£129 will go to Sandy Lane Primary School to enhance outdoor activity for its pupils and Warfield Primary School’s Environment Club will receive £248 to help refurbish the school’s environmental area.
Local residents can sign up to the recycling rewards scheme and collect points for correct recycling. These points can be converted into benefits or donated to local good causes.
